The SPEL PuraFluent® range of sewage treatment plants are available from the standard range or ‘bespoke’ designs to meet specific site requirements and Environment Agency discharge consents. Specialising in more challenging applications, SPEL have supplied systems to care homes and holiday parks (fluctuating usage) as well as residential developments. Starting at 100 Population Equivalent (100 pop), the SPEL PuraFluent range can grow to cope with loadings from a 3000 Population Equivalent (3000 pop), this equates to a medium to large housing development.
Here at SPEL, we are glad to help with the design process for your project to ensure it delivers the correct performance and meets even the strictest Environment Agency requirements on discharge. Contact our team for more information on our SPEL PuraFluent range.
Established in 1964, SPEL Products have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of tanks for waste water applications. In 1975 SPEL introduced the ‘patented’ Septic Tank range, acquiring the valued Agrément Certificate in 1978. Product development has continued with the most recent launch being the SPEL PuraFluent Treatment Plant system.

Designed to meet site specifications
Designed with reference to BS EN 13121. All tank shells carry the SPEL 25 Year Warranty and life expectancy in excess of 50 years.
Different tank shell specifications are available dependent upon tank invert levels, ground conditions and ground water levels. (See Installation Guidance section)
Pipe connections available to accommodate most standard sizes.
The SPEL Purafluent range of systems from 100 population (PE) to 500 population (PE) are configured as per the below list, with 100PE – 300PE being a single tank system. From 400PE the system requires multiple tanks and there is some flexibility in the size of tanks used.
Above 500PE the system is designed by our engineer team to meet both site and discharge requirements.
